Can I rent a Brio retirement property?

Yes, nearly all our Brio properties are available to buy or rent. If you’re looking for a flexible alternative to buying, then a Brio property is a great option.

What is included in the monthly rent?

Your monthly Essentials Rent combines rent and service fees in one simple monthly charge – covering property rental, landlord maintenance (which covers PAT testing and appliance repairs), communal cleaning and maintenance, external window cleaning, buildings insurance, estate management, communal broadband and utility costs, fire and call systems, 24/7 support, emergency assistance, plus club lounge, fitness suite, activity and events programme.

Are service charges included?

Yes, your Essentials Rent combines your rent with your service charge, so your fees are grouped together in one simple payment.

How long can I rent for?

As long as you like! Our rental properties can be rented for both short or long term.

Can I move from renting to buying?

Absolutely. Some people who currently rent with us aren’t ready to buy yet, or want to make sure the area is right for them first. Speak to our friendly team to discuss what works best for you
