BEECHWOOD PARK INVITES LOCALS TO A FREE THREE-DAY PHOTOGRAPHIC ART EXHIBITION AT ITS BEAUTIFUL COTSWOLDS DEVELOPMENT

Brio Retirement Living is throwing the doors open at its beautiful development Beechwood Park, in Stow-on-the-Wold, to locals and art-lovers aplenty as it’s set to host a three-day art exhibition next month.

To be held from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th April, the team and residents at Beechwood Park are busy transforming its hub, located in Wintergreen Court into an art exhibition area to host the inspiring works of renowned multiple exposure and digital montage photographer, Stacey Holliday Hughes.

Stacey’s exhibition, which will include a wide range of photographic work, is open to the public from 12 noon until 4pm on the Friday, and from 10am until 4pm over the weekend. All ages are welcome, with refreshments available from Slate & Grain, and visitors are in with a chance of winning a 12 x 16 mounted print which has been gifted by Stacey, for one lucky winner chosen at random.

Originally from Georgia USA, home for Stacey is now the Isle of Wight, but she has deep rooted connections with the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. Stacey shared: “My family and I used to live in Cheltenham, where our son Jack was born, and we spent much of our time exploring the Cotswolds. We loved to walk along the Cotswold Way; we took our son Jack, and daughter Eleanor, to Bourton on the Water to the Birdland park often, visited the British Cheese Festival in Stow-on-the-Wold, were frequent visitors to Westonbirt Arboretum, Sudeley Castle, Cotswold farm park and Prinknash Abbey. As adults we’ve walked parts of Cotswold Way and have plans to walk the whole way with my sister when she’s over from Florida in USA. The Cotswolds has certainly had a huge influence on my creativity.

“Our very close friends work at Beechwood Park, and I knew it would be just the most idyllic setting for me to share my love of art and photography. I’m very much looking forward to meeting lots of new people and sharing my experiences and vision – hopefully learning something new from the visitors too!”

Stacey will be on-site to chat to visitors and will also have many varied pieces of art available for purchase.

Matt Cotton, General Manager at Beechwood Park, shared: “We’re all thrilled to host Stacey’s exhibition here at Beechwood Park. We have a number of talented artists living within our development and they are very much looking forward to welcoming Stacey and our visitors too. The buzz around the development is fabulous and we can’t wait for the exhibition to launch.”

General admission to the art exhibition is free of charge. For more information, please phone 01451 885 453.
