The walk will start at 12.15pm from The Lawn, Brio Retirement Living, Landale Court and pass through Hume Square just after the cycle events have departed, where there will be food and craft stalls as well as live entertainment in the afternoon. The walk will finish within Brio, Landale Court where Slate & Grain Brasserie and Bar will be open and we will hosting some fundraising events on the lawn as well as other family fun day activities.
The walk is open to all (including dogs) and is free to enter, there will be collection points at the registration area and along the 5km route to make donations and raise money for North East Sensory Services Charity.
All walkers will be required to sign in on the day of the walk at The Lawn, Landale Court from 11.45am before setting off.
The route will be well signposted and takes in the beautiful open fields, woodlands and waterways of the estate. There will be a refreshment stop approximately half way around the route. It is advisable that all walkers wear appropriate clothing and shoes for walking in the countryside.
